***Currently, seating is limited to 4 seats as this class is scheduled to be held at a private residence in the South Hill area. However, we are actively looking for a venue with more seating capacity. If you live in an apartment complex with a community room, or know of a restaurant/pub that would have space and would like some customers on a Tues evening (must be open until at least 9pm) - then please notify me immediately! I appreciate your help!
In this 5 week hands-on class, we will be exploring different types of acrylic paint, paint pens, brushes, brushstrokes, painting techniques, stencils and simple backgrounds for focal images. This is a great way to experience the freedom of creativity – without rules!
Dates/Time: Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30pm. Please mark the following dates on your calendar: Oct 10, 17, 24, (skipping Oct 31), Nov 7, 14.
Cost: $90/person. Covers the 5 weeks and includes all* supplies (*)except the Art Journal (see recommendation below).
What you need to bring: Please bring an apron (or wear something you don't mind getting paint on). You will also need a Mixed Media Art Journal - I recommend Canson XL 5x7 or 8x10. I also recommend purchasing from Spokane Art Supply - mention you're taking my class and get a discount!
Age recommendation: preteen and up! If you have a child that is younger, I will accept on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to discuss prior to registration as this class is non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy: Full refunds (minus $5 processing fee) will be issued ONLY if I receive notification 2 weeks prior to class. 50% refunds will be issued with notification less than 2 weeks prior to class. No refunds after class starts. By registering for this event, you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
Robyn Smith is a Mixed Media Artist who has a passion to help others re-discover their creativity through Art Journaling, Mixed Media, and Paint Parties! She has been teaching art classes in the Inland Northwest for 10 years.
